Civil rights groups sue over Ga. voter backlog
Georgia may be considered a reliably “red” state in the Deep South, but this year, it’s home to two closely watched, highly competitive statewide races. In fact, recent polling suggests Georgia’ U.S. Senate race and gubernatorial race may even go to a runoff. But it’s the voter-registration materials that may ultimately matter most. According to the New Georgia Project, the group has submitted “more than 80,000 new voter applications to county election boards.” But as Election Day nears, the New Georgia Project says roughly half of these new voters, some of whom registered months ago, are not yet on the voter rolls.
My question is why isn't this front page news? A significant number of voter registrations are unaccounted for. Where are all the calls for protecting these voters' rights?
Try to imagine if the expected party affiliation was switched and the expectation was that these would result in new Republican voters.
How do we raise the profile of this occurrence?

we all have been seeing the drastically oppressive results of the republican side of the scotus's decision once again with all the reporting and proof of voter suppression due to their decision to strike section 4 of the voter rights act that requires gov't approval to questionable states and discriminative laws imposed on their voters, yet we have head nothing from the scotus and not much any more from those affected.  my point the scotus has to see the suppressive moves made in red states some hours after their decision was handed down that shows me it was their intent to suppress our vote.
