i have written similar concerns that most are not ready to handle the in the moment confrontation with a criminal armed too, it's not the same as an inanimate target profile that does not shoot back or have the ability to attack physically, all that training pass before your eyes at warp speed which does you no good. chances are the crook has done this before which puts them a leg up on you, false confidence will end your life simply because your mind knows you have a gun, will they put that on your tombstone?
i don't so much agree with this warrior mindset it can cause you to react prematurely or a second to late while you bask in the fact that you are strapped nobody better mess with you false sense of security run amok. while maybe good advise nothing can surpass experience and that is something the average new carrier does not have. bottom line you are always on the low bet side when it comes to using a concealed weapon.
on the real do you think even a long time carrier will checklist the altercation or just react, in the video where the guy encroaches on the officer odds are he would be dead or taken that gun and killed the owner panic is an emotion they rule hands down over training. believe it
this same mindset of a cop freezing regardless to training is just as likely as zoning out and going on a rampage emptying his weapon beyond need. there is a realization that some who choose to arm themselves and go to the range are simply not killers and are unable to complete the act and become the statistic they thought they were avoiding by carrying a gun.
this guy gives good points and a lot of truths especially about training before strapping on a gun, but it does not promote abstaining from the idea itself, i know that's not his job but i think too many no it alls and i got it's will be caught in that false sense of security as well as those looking for a fight they are positive they can win because they are strapped. her also refers to having the right weapon "to get the job done" highly inflammatory and promotes exactly what the gun is for to kill another human being. in the end they want to sell you false confidence. i suggest using some of the things but not to buy something that will not counter your human side or animal side as the refer to. i did not realize this was an ad. face it you are probably not a warrior so don't try to be something you aren't it will get you killed.
