“Don’t shoot us!” cried young black people, their hands held high in a symbolic gesture, after police killed Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old teenager. The shooting occurred on August 9, 2014 in Ferguson, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis. Witnesses said that they saw Brown fleeing with his arms raised crying, “Don’t Shoot Me!”
“…48 hours from starting his first day of college.”
Police and the community agree that Brown had no weapon, and the multiple shell casings indicate that police fired multiple shots. But the teen’s mother indicated a larger number. She said during an interview with CNN that Brown was hit eight times,
“My son just turned 18 and graduated high school and he didn’t bother nobody,” McSpadden, told CNN affiliate KSDK.An eye-witness gave a running commentary of the event, Isaac Daniels tweeted,
“This happened in front of my apartment in St. Louis…He was shot in the chest twice by a cop that was shooting from his vehicle. The young man then threw his arms in the air & said please don’t do this repeatedly until he was shot in the head then the cop stood over him & emptied the clip on him…Lord please help us”Another person observed:
Gun shots, looting large crowds in street no cops around.
The coroner completed the autopsy Monday afternoon. But with the ongoing police investigation, the police refused to release the results. The coroner will also perform a toxicology report to see if Brown had taken in any illegal substances.
police withholding "THEIR" evidence while discarding eye witness accounts. I give those who stepped up a hat's off and a prayer for their well being testifying against police committing homicide can prove deadly. let me say this "BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT A MENACE TO SOCIETY, SOCIETY IS A MENACE TO BLACK PEOPLE". they always look to find drugs in the dead body that was murdered what are they looking for a reason to exonerate the killer or use it as some phony "REASON WHY" when the reason why is almost always because the killer was inclined to do so.
