The GOP continues to deploy fake websites, such as the one above, geared to tricking Democrats to donating to the Republican party. Are they that desperate for money?
The GOP continues to deploy fake websites, such as the one above, geared to tricking Democrats to donating to the Republican party. Are they that desperate for money?
Why is it that the party that claims they love the integrity of the election so much is so often the one practicing political chicanery with this venerated right? In the recent past, the Republican party has managed to push through re-drawn redistricting lines in the states where they hold a majority in the statehouse. In many of those same states, they have pushed the answer to the problem that doesn’t exist, voter fraud, by changing voter ID laws. But their latest ploy is perhaps the most insidious yet. And it may very well be illegal.
In a couple of special elections last year, the Republican National Congressional Committee tried a new tactic meant to separate dollars from unsuspecting donors by parroting Democratic candidate web pageswhose donation button links directly to the RNCC. With no legal retribution and obviously some financial success with this actual fraud, the RNCC has pulled out the stops and is building mock websites across the country in preparation for this year’s midterm elections.
In a special election in Florida last year for congressional candidate Alex Sink, Dr. Ray Bellamy stated, “I donated $250 but it went to the wrong side.” The RNCC later refunded Dr. Bellamy’s donation but that didn’t stop him from feeling he had been duped by the Republicans.
“I felt like the whole thing was kind of a fraudulent effort. Sort of a political dirty trick.”
And Dr. Bellamy is not alone in thinking that.
According to a story on ABC news, the RNCC is currently running 15 of these Democratic candidate mimicking sites. The benefit for the RNCC is two-fold. They are able to raise fraudulent funding of unsuspecting Democratic voters and they are able to disseminate negative and/or false research about the Democratic candidate.
you really need to consider if right is on your side and your agenda is not questionable and you have the best plan for America why do you need to stoop to all the skulduggery and deceitful lies to "try to win" an election, 2012 "we the people voted over a million votes to put Dems in charge of the house, but gerrymandering denied those million voters their vote being heard while they claimed Americans put them back in charge,
how so when they have the worst record and has done nothing in their interest for 5 years not even a job of the promised in 2010.  they know their crap stinks and they know we know it their only chance is deception and rigging the vote or should i say suppressing it.
