Tea Party Seeks To Replace House Leader Eric Cantor With Even More Extreme Candidate

i would think getting the boot by the T-Party would be a plus welcome to the human race.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is often seen as the real hand of power among House Republicans in Congress. If it’s a choice between Cantor and Speaker John Boehner, the Tea Party caucus would rather follow Cantor. That may be true in the House, but the Tea Party itself would love nothing more than to replace Eric Cantor in 2014.

The Tea Party intends to challenge Eric Cantor in a primary with their strongest candidate yet.

Apparently, Eric Cantor isn’t an insane enough of a conservative for the Tea Party. That why they intend to run a candidate against him in a primary this year in Virginia. David Brat, an economics professor at Randolph-Macon College, seeks to unseat the long-time Virginia congressman.
“I want to be Eric Cantor’s term-limit,” Brat told the National Review. Adding weight to his candidacy, Brat has been meeting with some “big as they get” right-wing groups about supporting his campaign financially. If he manages to get such funding, Brat could be the biggest threat to Cantor’s career yet. “I think it’s safe to say it will definitely rattle some cages when it comes out,” Brat says of the potential donors. But why do the Tea Party and David Brat want to kick Cantor out of the House?
well i guess he can kiss the speaker job goodbye, wow an early T-P primary threat ill he still be faithful or write a book?
It’s pretty simple really. As usual, the Tea Party is disappointed that Eric Cantor isn’t doing more to kill Obamacare.
“He had two CRs at the end, one in favor of the shutdown and one opposed to the shutdown at the same time,” Brat says. “And that’s fairly symbolic of unprincipled leadership. I mean, that’s not a leadership position, where you’re on Side A and Side B at the same time and you’ve got your finger up in the air, checking which way the wind is blowing.”
Even though Republicans shut down the government and threatened a debt ceiling default in October, they still failed to repeal the landmark healthcare law. They failed because Americans overwhelmingly turned against the GOP, causing the party’s popularity to drop to historic lows. Ultimately, sane Republicans like Cantor decided that repealing Obamacare wasn’t worth sacrificing economic security of America.
Unlike Cantor, Brat intends to “move the ball down the field” on that front, meaning he’d probably be one of the extreme few who would continue the shutdown and let the US Government default on the debt. As an economics professor, you’d think Brat would know that default is a bad thing for the economy. But that’s not all.
guess Cantor is not evil enough, haven't heard of the new darling but rest assured he must be evil plus if they support him.   if i were Cantor i'd wait till day before mid terms and spill half the beans the rest in 2016. get richer doing it and show them the hand and tell them they can kiss his whole entire butt, then hit the talk circuit telling it all, they want to screw you screw them first.
