The "Obamacare is killing jobs", claim from Republicans is just another in a series of disingenuous claims about why job creation in the U.S. has been less than stellar.
Austerity is the reason jobs creation has lagged behind what we could have by now in this dismal job recovery.
Are teaching police, firemen and government workers jobs considered essential jobs by the GOP and Tea Party?
Apparently not. And thousands of these jobs have been cut under the austerity that's been forced on our country by the GOP.
The Republican Party doesn't believe that it's government's job to create jobs. But they did run on a 'job creation platform in 2010.
They deny that now, but Americans have seen the video tapes.
Now, they claim that it is private industry's job to create jobs and that the GOP's job is to help to create the environment so that Corporations can hire more people.
And the reason Republicans give for why corporations aren't hiring more than they are? OBAMACARE!!!
And of course, corporate taxes are higher than they should be, they are too many regulations, wages are too high here compared to China and on and on ad nauseam.
How much lower than 'nothing' can corporate taxes go?
are you paying attention? you who believe in republican "PRINCIPLES" formerly know as "VALUES", have been played, suckered, punked, screwed and out right lied to, had enough or are you gluttons for punishment?
But, as usual, the GOP can't accept responsibility for the problems their 'solutions' cause.
They need some cover and have found the perfect excuse for their austerity in Obamacare.Hey, GOP: The truth is most of our manufacturing is being done in China!
So, until we stop cutting good paying government jobs and do something to stem the tide of job outsourcing, no amount of tax cuts for the rich are going to bring good paying jobs back to the U.S.
So, Man Up.Everyone but you understand who's responsible for our poor job recovery. Try something new for a change. Accept the responsibility for what you've done rather than passing the buck to Obama and his healthcare program.
If it hadn't been for the fact that "Obama Cares" we wouldn't have any job creation in the last 5 years.
