When you eat at a restaurant, it’s customary to leave a tip for your server, especially if the service they provided was “excellent.” That’s how a group of so-called “Christians” described the performance of their waiter at a restaurant in Kansas earlier this week. But instead of a tip, the anti-gay Christiansleft a message telling their waiter that they refuse to leave a tip for him because he’s gay.

Anti-gay Christian customers refused to tip their waiter at Carraba’s Italian Grill because he’s gay.

The waiter, who has declined to identify himself, works at Carraba’s Italian Grill in Overland Park, Kansas. According to KMBC , the incident occurred after he had treated the bigoted patrons well throughout their meal. But despite the great service, the anti-gay Christian diners decided not to tip him and left a hateful message.

“Thank you for your service, it was excellent,” the anti-gay Christians’ message read. “That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to GOD. Queers do not share in the wealth of GOD, and you will not share in ours. We hope you will see the tip your queer choices made you lose out on, and plan accordingly. It is never too late for GOD’s love, but none shall be spared for queers. May GOD have mercy on you.”

they should pray for their own deliverance that hate world is not the after life the Bible refers to, they don't discriminate there, buy a map and read that Bible and know bigots are an abomination.

Other customers were outraged by the hateful message left by the anti-gay Christian patrons.

Other customers were disgusted by the overt display of hate and spread news of the incident via social media. “It’s honestly despicable,” Will Rogers told KMBC. “It’s not different than saying I’m not tipping you because you’re black, or a Jew, or anything like that. In this day and age, being gay, it’s not really any cause for a fuss.”

Despite the outrage and outpouring of support, the waiter says he doesn’t want people to send him money to make up for the poor treatment he received. “The offers to help pay me back are much appreciated, but not at all needed. I’d prefer to let my work ethic and my service do the talking, nothing else,” he said. In the face of persecution, this waiter is acting more Christ-like than the “Christians” who chose to hate him instead of reward him. As the ‘Golden Rule’ states, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
