House Republicans will try again to unravel President Obama’s healthcare law in a stopgap spending bill Monday night, virtually ensuring Congress will miss a midnight deadline to avert a shutdown of the federal government.
During a closed-door, members-only meeting in the Capitol on Monday, party leaders outlined a plan to lawmakers in which the House would seek to attach a one-year delay of ObamaCare’s individual mandate to a stopgap spending bill. The plan would also strip out subsidies in the law for members of Congress and political appointees, lawmakers said.
thought they had demonized closed door negotiations must be ours not theirs.  they are aware they cannot stop this but their collective insanity keeps them going or is it they owe insurance co.'s for their perks for keeping us in the grips of that milking machine.
doesn't it bother you that something is not right the incessant attempts to deny you health care calling if failed, an abomination when it hasn't been fully implemented and what has gives it good enough marks that other republicans are jumping on  the health train, and red state gov. excepting and putting it in play, and yet congress is still demonizing and misleading you, or is that the reason that it is working after they said it was a train wreck.
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) presented the plan at the same time as Democrats in the Senate voted to table the House GOP’s previous amendments to a Senate-passed continuing resolution.
Boehner later spoke with President Obama over the phone, but the call did not appear to make much progress.
“The president called the speaker this evening to discuss funding for the government and Obamacare," Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said in a statement. "The speaker told the president that Obamacare is costing jobs and that American families are being denied basic fairness when big businesses are getting exemptions that they are not. The call lasted nearly ten minutes.”
so much for their claim Pres. won't talk to them, remember in the beginning he invited them over several times and they dissed him and refused to attend, then when he learns that is futile they cry he doesn't reach out, i have a brain tumor and i remember that, what's their excuse?
note the hypocrisy they are now acting like they are putting "we the people" before big corps you remember the job creators that they are creating this situation because they want to give them what they want read the article by redsfan and note the riders they are trying to put on their latest obstruction and see who they favor most.
