Al Sharpton is apparently running out of ways to be shocked by Obama-bashing. This time Sharpton was amazed at how much the right wing’s “Obama derangement” has skyrocketed in the national debate over Syria. And even though Obama’s getting hit on both sides, Sharpton found the conservative attack on Obama “way over the line,” relative to the normal level of outrage.
Sharpton called out Glenn Beck and Rand Paul for saying that Obama is going to help al-Qaeda in Syria (Beck went so far as to suggest it’s “treason”), though he did not point out they were only saying so because of the al-Qaeda affiliated rebel groups fighting the Assad regime. Krystal Ball used this to illustrate a contrast between what she described as their black-and-white “propaganda” to Obama’s more nuanced take.Angela Rye scolded their lack of “patriotism,” while Jamal Simmons described this as “one of the most vile moments I have ever seen” from the GOP, especially their embrace of Vladimir Putin. He said that if anyone on MSNBC ever said a kind word about Putin, the conservative media would be all over them.
how much of this do the republicans think they need to dump on the public before they decide it's time to stop being the party of ultra stupidity?
no longer is this political if it ever was, it's a personal negative attack reminiscent of those days when they felt they could say anything after all we were only 3/5ths of a human being subject to their whims. is there any difference to those times and now.
Sharpton called out Karl Rove for recommending Obama go to Congress on Syria, before criticizing Obama for doing so after the fact. He concluded that it’s never about policy with Republicans, it’s always simply “Obama derangement.”
they talk about how we should not say certain things that embolden our enemies, WTF do they think their hoisting Putin on their shoulders and hailing him over the Pres. what does that send hugs and kisses, do you see anything that helps with this Syria thing?
just as late as yesterday they were calling him a liar and not being truthful, not to be trusted, today they all got a tingle up their legs for him how phony is that it's not about Putin it's about the chance to jab the Pres. this is their contribution coupled with 5 years of obstruction to the pot, i'm not hungry are you?
