Samuel L. Jackson has some harsh criticism forPresident Obama in a new interview with Playboy. The actor was lamenting the fact that it now appears to be “politically cool” for “white guys” on TV to use terms like “Pump your brakes” and “I got you” when speaking to black people. “We do still speak English, right?” he asked. “How the @!$%# did we become a society where mediocrity is acceptable?”
“Or one in which President Obama or other highly educated Americans consciously drop gs off the ends of words to sound like Joe Average?” Playboy’s Stephen Rebello suggested. This led Jackson to issue his tough words for the president:“First of all, we know it ain’t because of his blackness, so I say stop trying to ‘relate.’ Be a leader. Be @!$%#ing presidential. Look, I grew up in a society where I could say ‘It ain’t’ or ‘What it be’ to my friends. But when I’m out presenting myself to the world as me, who graduated from college, who had family who cared about me, who has a well-read background, I @!$%#ing conjugate.”At the same time, Jackson reaffirmed that he would like to see Obama get “scary” in certain situations that call for some anger. “He got a little heated about the kids getting killed in Newtown and about the gun law,” Jackson said. “He’s still a safe dude.”
i am opposed to people Black or White trying to categorize the Pres., White guys always pick some dead ex Pres. that he should be like they were all White, some Blacks want to call him brother but then proceed to lambast him,(smiley and the other idiot)
now this is more like it with Mr. S. Jackson he needs to quit trying to please everyone, there are no precedents for his situation but he is the trailblazer.
the truth in S. Jacksons rant is he kind of nullifies his own creds as stated by him with all the profanity who is he pitching to?
Rev. Jackson is also right he does tend to play it safe the American electorate is to damn fickle to know when they've got it good, right wing in he wings just waiting for a slip in their heads, they tried to conjure up the in his case "ANGRY BLACKMAN" with the ethnic slurs and caricatures and racist speech it only made them look like angry bigots.

he's not a sheep
this rhetoric going around now is stupid, kudo's to President Obama for being and staying who he is. Why do they expect him to react and act the same way some other president or hopeful did 30 yrs. ago.
the world has changed,no wonder the gridlock is larger than the advancement how can any anyone with an ounce of intelligence assume that there is some standard on how you are suppose to respond if you are to be seen as legitimate we have a president now that has his own feelings not yours or your fathers
that is an attempt to stereotype someone who is different than past executives in almost every way and put him in that box so they can criticize. That is exactly why it's not working with those who are more enlightened then "THE FOLKS" (O'Reily) or "THE REAL AMERICANS" AGAIN "who's zoomin' who?"
