The reason is that the president has far more access to the news media, to the Internet and to the country than his GOP adversaries. The Republicans aren't united in their message and lack a single leader who can compete with the president for national attention.
Pres. no doubt needs to ramp up his TV appearances in defense of ACA, the republicans have had 5 years at the plate and they have seriously mislead Americans.
divide they are and divided they'll fall. the [party of stupid although true is an understatement, too many chefs they argue and nobody notices the pot boiling over this is what is happening within the republican org. and who ever wins may end up 1/2 as strong as they were making easy targets 2014 2016, please take advantage of this gift elephant.
The latest poll by CNBC finds that 44 percent of Americans oppose defunding the Affordable Care Act, Obama's health care law, and only 38 percent support defunding it. If defunding the health care law would mean shutting down the government or a default on government obligations, 59 percent would oppose defunding and 19 percent would support it.Last week, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a bill to fund the government into mid-December but to deny funding for Obama's health care law. The president and Senate Democratic leaders say this measure is a non-starter and they insist that the health care law be funded.
wow all the things they accused Pres. of they are doing once more, denying you health care and kicking the can down the road, these are the things he needs to touch on the more he does the better chance of the real 411 getting out and understood. a job for us all each one teach one.
