With just over two until Obamacare’s state insurance exchanges open, the anti-Obamacare movement are certainly pulling out all the stops to discourage people from signing up – no matter how big or creepy they may seem.
Generation Opportunity, a conservative group that "has financial ties to billionaire businessmen and political activists Charles and David Koch," is rolling out a $750,000 campaign of "Opt Out" ads to convince college students in a tour of 20 college campuses later this month why they don't need health insurance.
In addition to finally engaging college students in an intelligent political discourse about the costs of health care by handing them beer cozies at football games, the campaign already seems to be doing a fine job of scaring the living daylights out of everybody, young or old, in their latest ads.
pay attention to who the sponsors are, and the attempt to but your gov't from those who support deregulation, disenfranchisement, all the right wing agenda things you have but to pick one i'm sure whatever it is you are not getting they paid into that pot to keep it from you.
The first ad, "The Exam: Creepy Uncle Sam" (their words not ours), features a young 20-something woman getting a run of the mill pap smear and is asked to undress and place her feet in stirrups. But she's in for a surprise.
expect more they are counting down from 11 days and depending on you to be as blissful as their base and except that health care unrestricted and betterr all around is an abomination, would you call ObamCares an abomination if it allows your son who is carless to stay on your policy till 26?
