It’s all over in the Senate except for the theatrics.Majority Leader Harry Reid made it absolutely clear on Tuesday morning: Republicans will be unable to perform a talking filibuster to delay indefinitely the spending bill that the Senate is considering this week. And Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell put the icing on the cake: He wouldn’t back an effort to block the bill from receiving a final up-or-down vote“I want to make sure everyone understands: There is no filibuster today,” Reid said.

Under the rules, no one can stop that.”Republicans like Cruz can hold up the bill until as late as Sunday if they want, when Reid will seek to strip out the Obamacare defunding provision and send a clean CR back to the House. They can also give consent to speed up the votes, which would give the House more time to consider its next move once the spending bill is sent back. But the votes will go on.
this is tantamount to teenage rebellion like every other attempt they have made that works against "we the people", we find that path that leads back to health care for millions. do we continue to lose money through republican fits or do we show them we outnumber them and their skulduggery works no longer, we will overcome Nov. 4th 2014 a vote for them is just that a vote for them and it's members only their base is not welcome unless they have millions.
