In a repudiation of a major element in the Bloomberg administration’s crime-fighting legacy, a federal judge has found that the stop-and-frisk tactics of the New York Police Department violated the constitutional rights of tens of thousands of New Yorkers, and called for a federal monitor to oversee broad reforms.
they knew this when it was implemented but fickle Americans would selfishly want to "protect" their constitutional rights" while trampling on others, if they are rights for one there are constitutionally rights for all. unfortunately this is not and has not ever been the way of America. some have always been privileged and elite while others are not and any advocate for their cause is labelled as elite by those privileged in an attempt to dial down their own aristocracy's.

stereotyped young men are "assumed" to be in violation of the law those in the middle class being brainwashed for years that Black and Hispanics are always 24/7 up to something no good, that was known too, that this demographic would be the ones mostly harassed and victimized by fear mongering, on the down low it cuts back on progressive voters too.
