let's pray that an understanding and compromises can be met, new mind new ideas new solutions.
Hassan Rowhani officially became the president of Iran on Saturday after he received the formal endorsement of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, state TV reported.
Khamenei handed power to Rowhani at a ceremony at the leader’s compound that was also attended by former presidents Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Former President Mohammad Khatami, who was a key supporter in Rowhani’s bid to become president, was not present at the ceremony, based on the state media report."I want to restore hope to the Iranian people and fix the economy and get rid of these cruel sanctions," Rowhani said after the ceremony, referring to the U.S.-led sanctions imposed on Iran over its disputed nuclear program.Khamenei said Rowhani has expressed his desire to seek a "logical relationship" with the Western powers, "and I support him."
now if the right wing would stop undermining the Pres.'s policy and interfering with diplomatic talks, there can be hope for that light at the end of the tunnel.
Officials in the West have watched Rowhani, who is set to be inaugurated on Sunday, with the hope of more moderate leadership after Ahmadinejad’s eight-year presidency.
this looks good executive order should be made to keep republicans out of it, the party of do nothing does something it interferes and attempts to obstruct, this order should be with criminal charges. we gotten this far without them could have been much more had they not declared war against the Pres. which by default is a war on "we the people".
