Article PhotoCivil tensions between Northern Ireland’s pro-British Protestants and pro-Irish Catholics, which were supposedly placated by a 1998 peace and power sharing deal, have resurrected this year and escalated over the past few days. At least 56 police officers and two civilians have been injured during protests staged by the Catholic nationalists, with ongoing activism and violence consuming the central streets of Belfast.
there was a comment yesterday or before about Islamic religious wars it seemed as thought they the author was singling them out as the only religion that engaged in religious wars clearly they never read a Bible but hopefully they will see this.
Protestors have pelted police officers with bricks, often dug out from the paved streets, bottles, and the occasional beer keg while police officers have responded with plastic bullets and water hoses. There have thankfully been no fatalities thus far attributed to the protests, of which there have been 3,600 since they first erupted in the 1960s, but the hostility is persistent and the moderate stability is fragile.
history has shown all religion has come under or in this case still under attack by crazy as it seems other religions, Crusades, Holy Wars, Jihad about what who's religion is bigger or better or ultimately the real deal if man knew the answer to that one all of the billion religions of the world  would fade away, leaving just one.  but mans doesn't know so in all his wisdom they fight, kinda like republican ideology just keep on till something in your favor happens or as we affectionately call it insanity.
