Article PhotoMOSCOW (AP) — A Russian lawyer for Edward Snowden says the National Security Agency leaker has received asylum in Russia for one year and left the transit zone of Moscow's airport.
Anatoly Kucherena said he handed over the papers to Snowden on Thursday. He said Snowden left Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport where he was stuck since his arrival from Hong Kong on June 23.
Kucherena said that Snowden's whereabouts will be kept secret for security reasons.
i think Putin is just seizing the opportunity to flex in front of the world and stare us down, which is meaningless we would not start an aggression over this however the 2012 loser might.
i really do believe that although a peak at what he has to offer would be impossible for others to turn down, but again i think it's just a putting of us in our place, making demands of another super power is tantamount to them doing it to us, in one out the other.
he gets one year asylum.
