republican should have learned they need to stay away from science they just show what classes they failed in school.
Senator Marco Rubio has yet again injected his religious views into the conversation, and claimed it as science. This time, it was at his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). During the speech, he gave this little gem of religion-as-science wisdom:
In fact, the people who are actually closed-minded in American politics are the people that love to preach about the certainty of science in regard to our climate, but ignore the absolute fact that science has proven that life begins at conception.
Unfortunately, just like his previous claim of seeing “reasonable debate on climate change,” this is nothing but further hyperbole intended to pander to the ill-informed base they require for good numbers at the polls.
i'm wondering who's the real ill informed here?
And this is not a position held by CPAC’s other notable speaker, as Mitt Romney made a portion of his wealth disposing of unused embryos. When asked about his investments in the embryo disposal business, Mr. Romney had this to say:
“I would, I would not outlaw it… I would allow, I would allow private laboratories and private institutions–as we currently do, and as the president does as well–to use these so-called surplus or embryos to be discarded.”
But, there is another even creepier angle which Senator Rubio either is ignoring, or is ignorant of. That of the malignant teratoma. A teratoma is a form of tumor, which can and often times does resemble a fetus. But it is, instead, a tumor, similar to one formed from cancer, but instead of a mass of cells, it forms hair, teeth, even organs, as this example clearly shows:
Republican attitudes about conception and abortion involve narrow-minded thinking which has become signature for not only Marco Rubio, but across the Republican party as a whole. They fail to function in the real world, instead pushing a fictional narrative that all pregnancies are viable, that all mothers are healthy, and that everything, post-conception, is always perfect. Unfortunately, they push for policies which result in birth abnormalities, disabilities, and worse through the elimination of regulations, which means these tragic, avoidable cases will become more and more common as time goes on. This, of course, mirrors their failed abortion policies, which result in more abortions even as they decry them happening.
my philosophy, if you don't know what you are talking about shut up before the world knows you don't.
