President Barack Obama says he’s ready to do whatever it takes to help Democrats win the House next year — a feat that could make the difference between limping to the end of his presidency and going out with a bang. But some Democratic candidates and operatives in the districts on which control of the House will hinge said in interviews with POLITICO that the message and issues Obama has emphasized since the election are creating a difficult political headwind for them.i have a problem with this ideology, i know it's been there for ever but if you proclaim your concern for "we the people" and country why do you feel that it's not good enough of a platform to run on,
i understand some might have constituencies that lean right wing but are you not being true to your commitment by denying the leader who was twice confirmed by the majority of Americans.
underinformed does not mean totally uninformed, like Bush's people not wanting him to show at their rallies these people were still identified as republican and still espousing that rhetoric, so who are they fooling? are we the worst thing to happen to politics since money?
do we deny ourselves because of a misconception born of another's lies?
Obama's political choices, they say, reflect a tone-deafness to the challenges they face competing for moderate and conservative-leaning seats.
aren't those same seats not so much up for grabs do to gerrymandering, i understand the need to win certain seats to gain occupation of the house but do we toss our values and adopt those tactics that actually threaten, again who's hurting us, fear or fear?
