"The National Rifle Association of America is made up of four million moms and dads, sons and daughters – and we were shocked, saddened and heartbroken by the news of the horrific and senseless murders in Newtown.
"Out of respect for the families, and as a matter of common decency, we have given time for mourning, prayer and a full investigation of the facts before commenting.
this no more than a self validation attempting to say "if we were so bad why are so many mom's and dad's in our club", my response to NRA i would not want to belong to a club that promotes WMD's as sport.
if there was any respect at all they would have never pushed a lobby to put them in the hands of??
automatic weapons are for war is that the NRA's underlying intent?
"The NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again.
that sounds like monetary contributions, if they really want to impact resist some of that money and denounce their complicity to right wing big business gun manufactures to stop the influx of more WMD, AKA automatic guns, multi load magazines stop twisting and threatening suspect politicians, PSA's for more control and less proliferation, that helps more then anything else they are trying to psych us out with.
