BOSTON — The four years of Barack Obama's first term saw a new era of political vitriol, and it reached its apex on Election Night. Among some conservatives, the reality of Obama's win came as too much of a shock to bear.
Most noticeably, Donald Trump, one of the last truly adamant birthers, went on a Twitter spree, calling for what sounded like a coup d'état to seize back power.
"We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!" Trump tweeted. "This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!" Brian Williams later mocked Trump's tweets on television.
still hawking violence those who speak these radical hate ideas should be held responsible when the crazies attack, example Palin "don't retreat reload" well they heard her and Gabby Giffords and her party were shot and killed, Palin not my fault and the Fox zombies said "yeah right not your fault".
Victoria Jackson said it more simply: "America died."
"I can't stop crying," she added.
Later: "Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me."
boy they sure turn on you quick when you don't lockstep, and Christains act like Christains.
