Linda McMahon, of World Wrestling Entertainment, has made a habit of spending a ton of money every few years to losing elections.It seems to be settling in as a bi-annual tradition in her home state of Connecticut to have voters rejecting her at the ballot box. In two years I suppose they will start decorating trees on election day in memory of having rejected her at the ballot box, or perhaps exchange small gifts.However with the close of this election, Linda McMahon’s campaign made a big error. They sent out paychecks which in turn bounced.
When the campaign issued new checks, at least one got a surprise in his envelope. He reported:“Basically he handed me a check with a condom in it, told me I was screwed. That’s the rudest gesture you can ever do to a person, it’s like spitting in a person’s face.”How classy of the campaign. Many of the checks which had bounced had been cashed at check cashing places around the area, giving a sign of the economic status of the people working on the McMahon campaign.
arrogance of money, if she was that callus in respect to her obligations would that reflect how she would govern?
Wrestling is popular entertainment, but politics is a real blood sport, and Mrs. McMahon is demonstrating that she remains unprepared for what it takes to not only run for office, but to win it.
why is it people with money feel their ultimate acheivement would be tto buy political office, the bigger the knot, the higher the aspiration. those who would be kings.
