Mitt Romney nearly bobbles Yankees fan's vote

CALLING corporations “people” didn’t go over so well. Offhandedly saying his wife “drives a couple of Cadillacs” wasn’t that endearing to some voters in this economy, either.
But ripping on the Yankees? Talk about an unforced error!
Mitt Romney may have nearly whiffed with one Yankees fan in New Hampshire Monday, but running mate Paul Ryan was there in the clutch to try to save the vote.
Romney — the former governor of Massachusetts and a Red Sox fan — ragged on the Bronx Bombers while taking a question from a New York fan at a town hall meeting at St. Anselm College.
He reportedly broke into a riff on a story he told at a South Carolina town hall about Johnny Damon being traded to New York by Boston, with the punchline being (drumroll, please): “We all hate Yankees.”
“But not you, Sir,” said Ryan for the save. “We love you.”
Romney is blind and dumb as a brick, the guy standing right in front of him with a yankees jersey and he still has to rag on the team, hmmmmm Britian and their turn at the Olympics and he found fault.  he justgoes all over the world insulting people and he wonder's why they don't like him, "DUH".
The forgiving fan — who remained nameless in a crowd of thousands who showed up to hear the White House hopefuls — replied, “I back winners and that’s why I’m backing you.”
how right wing was that, they don't care about the caliber of their candidates long as they look like them
