thank the Lord, our situation has pretty much been resolved here in DC. those 2 days without power and 3 days of no internet, cable or phone, was very uncomfortable as i have bronchial problems and a internet and MSNBC passion, it was almost right wing hell, you know where everything is furnished even A/C lol.
this was a sneaky storm in my area, just low thunder rumbling and silent lighting high in the clouds then 11pm Fri. i heard a bomp bomp the sound my phone makes when power is deleted, i looked around all the little vampire lights were out then panic set in AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! no nothing,
i usually keep a full fridge so as to keep monthly cost down leaving more pension for whatever. thank God the food was not spoiled and i'm still on track will buy this moth's food in a week. my daughter and my grandson, he's in town from KSU thinking of changing he's not comfortable there. he has another 10 colleges after him for football scholarship,
if you'd like Google" "Lamonte Clark" just his name, from DC, Ballou senior high grad., they bought gallons of water and juice and snacks not knowing my power was back on phone was still down. great visit the highlight of the storm. alls back to normal, after it first came on i cut the a/c on and kicked back then about 15 mins. later it went out i was like one of those movies I hollered "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" didn't work then either sol. thanx for letting me share.
