I know that the Obama hate runs deep in 25 percent land. But good grief. They seriously think a bad day with a war criminal is better than any day with Obama?
One of my Facebook friends posted this on her wall, and I immediately pointed out that Bush was, by any standard, a war criminal. One of her friends replied that Bush was indeed "much better than Nobama." I replied that Bush lied us into a war and at the very least looked the other way during the torture of detainees.
This other guy's reply? Obama was worse because we traded a deserter for terrorists. Never mind that Bowe Bergdahl was NOT a deserter according to the UCMJ--as has been mentioned several times, he never intended to "remain away" from his unit "permanently." And he also claimed that terrorists have no rights under the Geneva Conventions--conveniently forgetting about the Fourth Convention.
These, ladies and gentlemen, are the people propping up a major party in this country. And this is why this country's political climate has become so toxic.i will never understand in this day and age of enlightenment through internet, cable and even word of mouth how such vitriol reigns in on section of the population they cannot qualify it other than quoting Fox or other right wing media and their foot soldiers like Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Beck and Hannity all the liars and perpetrators feed this garbage to their base and it serves as their truth in news. it get no more reprehensible than one who one mislead another for money and power than subjugate those that believe who don't realize they are being used the ones that know are to ashamed to admit it so their fellow American along with them circle the drain of republican waste.
i would like one just one of them to stand before their fellow Americans and tell them why they choose to hate Pres. and what he did specifically to them a real reason not some retread from Fox talking points but a real reason they hate. and do they want to relinquish all he's done for them inspite of who they support he does the things he does for the deadbeat dad who shouted "you lie" at the first state of the union address, all those who say he's a Muslim and those birthers he looks out for them to something their own party doesn't do. yeah it's pretty deep so deep they are drowning themselves in it, then in the afterlife they will still hate him because he made them feel that way for nothing.
