After a long day of crowd control and reporter arrests, the chief made an appearance on Sean Hannity's show to reassure everyone he had things under control.
Police Chief Thomas Jackson took a breather from all of his responsibilities in Ferguson to make a brief appearance on Hannity. In the few short minutes he spent, he managed to tell the whitebread Fox audience that it was basically just black people being black. He didn't say that in so many words, but it was the message just the same.
- The officer who shot Michael Brown was injured too. As if that justified shooting Brown over and over.
- Ten shots were fired.
- 'Outside agitators' are responsible for the unrest. (Read: Black panthers, or similar)
- The shooter's name was being withheld out of fear for the safety of the cop involved.
If you're trying to bring a sense of calm to the community, Hannity's show is the last place on earth you should want to show your face.
If, on the other hand, you're interested in playing your side of the story to a bunch of nasty bigots, Hannity's show is exactly where you'd go.
this IMO shows the frame of mind and the intent of MO. police the guy claims he wants to reassure everyone that is a lie why would he go to Fox and racist ranter Hannity to reassure Black people in MO. that things are under control while they are in the streets seeing they are not under control and the world sees they are not under control. storm trooper like uniforms gassing rubber bullets news at eleven filled with explosions and people screaming.
ideally Hannity is the perfect place to go when you are violating people of color, you get the cotton ball questions and another like yourself sympathetic to your side. that move shows that those police are more right wing inclined then protecting and serving it's citizens.
now the right wing zealots are being fed the red meat and side with the police and Hannity against another murdered Black kid.
