Incumbent Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)) is effectively tied with Alison Lundergan Grimes (D-KY) at (46%/45%). Incumbent Democratic Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR) is beating Republican Congressman Tom Cotton (51%/41%). Georgia Democratic Senatorial Candidate Michelle Nunn (D-GA) is running from within 4 points to even to all her potential Republican opponents.
  • Nunn gets the support of 41 percent of registered voters, versus 45 percent for businessman David Perdue;
  • It’s Nunn 42 percent against 43 percent for Rep. Paul Broun, R-Ga;
  • It’s Nunn 43 percent against 43 percent for Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga.;
  • It’s Nunn 44 percent against 42 percent for Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Ga.;
  • And it’s Nunn 42 percent versus 39 percent for former Secretary of State Karen Handel.
These numbers are defying all the talking heads. There is a possibility that Americans are awakening. There is a possibility that Americans will start voting more in line with their interests. Talking heads already had it as a foregone conclusion that Republicans would win the Senate.
Activists are baffled that the states that need government most would send politicians determined to hurt them financially and medically with their policies. These polls indicate that some politicians may be learning techniques from books like Drew Westen’s The Political Brain. They know not to fall into the regional ideological traps that the Right Wing has been effectively using for several decades.
to toot my own horn have i not been saying this would happen?  their base would come to realize they are getting screwed too and by those the supported like family could the realization of their republican party's betrayal be consider a sick form of republican incest? just sayin'
