Milk was once christened "nature's perfect food," says Mark Bittman at The New York Times. The Department of Agriculture recommends three 8-ounce glasses of the stuff a day (which equals about 1.5 pounds). After all: It builds strong bones, is packed with nutrients, and helps kids grow taller. But drinking dairy can be problematic, and its most notorious ingredient, lactose, is indigestible by a significant percentage of Americans. Here, five reasons milk actually doesn't do a body good:
why do they come out every so often with some food that will kill you now when millions of people have forever consumed these things with no reported maladies. this to me is why some on right may think that those in sync with global warming could just be looking for a payday, i don't think so but this bad food think i dunno.
i'm 63 and have loved milk all my life never heard before it was dangerous to the general public just lactose intolerant. never broke or fractured a bone thank God.
