Bounty hunters tried to raid Phoenix Police Chief Joseph Yahner's house based on a false tip they saw on social media. It think it goes without saying that these guys are in a whole lot of trouble:
Phoenix Police officers were called at about 10 p.m. Tuesday night about a disturbance at the chief's residence, near 46th Avenue and Happy Valley Road, according to law enforcement.
When officers arrived, they found employees from the two companies, Northstar Recovery and Delta One Tactical Recovery, surrounding the chief's home, with one man banging on the chief's door with an unholstered weapon and in a verbal confrontations with the chief inside, police said. Their vehicles were parked on the property with their lights shining and the man at the door shined his flashlight inside, Phoenix police said. A cell phone video captured part of the altercation.
Several employees were armed with handguns, and police said they are in the process of obtaining a search warrant for these weapons.
