In a time where people genuinely want to believe that racism is dead, reality has a way of smacking us all right in the face to remind us that it's actually alive and well. Mississippi Judge Bill Weisenberger was seen and heard by five different witnesses, both white and black, striking a severely autistic African-American man and then yelling, "Run, n*gger, run" at him in 2014.
Nine months later, a grand jury has indicted Judge Weisenberger, and charged him with "assault on a vulnerable adult." Hate crime charges, which carry stiff federal sentencing, have yet to be filed.
Several additional allegations have surfaced against Weisenberger in the last year. He is accused of imposing an illegal DUI sentence against an African American in his courtroom. The Attorney General's office said it could not confirm or deny whether it was investigating that matter, though District Attorney Michael Guest said it had turned the matter over to the AG's office.
Weisenberger also had a lawsuit filed against both him and the county in November. The attorney for Charles Plumpp said Weisenberger arrested and jailed her client, who is African American, on the nonexistence charge of "roaming livestock."
the blame for this is not so much the racist judge he's unprincipled and has no respect for the oat he took upon taking the bench, no the blame lays squarely at the foot of the city council and or the AG, but that kind of disrespect for law as well as human rights is the status quo in those foreign states like miss., the carolinas, tenn., ga.
of late the light has been redirected at them but we don't see any meaningful action to prosecute fro the DOJ they were our last hope for justice in those murder cases by cops but so far they come up with the same claim not enough evidence and we are to not believe our lying eyes and ears that see and hear the civil rights being shot or choked out from under the victims while the killers get paid vacation ion the state or town with a tuicket to pass go and collect money when they come back from that paid vacation perk for killing Black men.
seems the longer the list of priors the longer that perpetrator stays in office or job with pay disappointed in Eric Holder he needs to explain the stagnation to pursue these perps before he leaves office and i really hope tere is something he really can't get around and not fear.
