As I’ve said before, I doubt Marco Rubio can straddle the politics of immigration reform. That’s not a criticism of Rubio. It’s simply a recognition that a growing majority of the country is simply too far from the base of the Republican party to be straddled by any but the most able of political animals. Now, in response to a draft release of President Obama’s immigration reform plan leaked to USAToday, Rubio is out with a press release saying the plan would be “dead on arrival” if it came before Congress. That news is considerably worse for Rubio than it is for Obama. It will hard for Rubio not to end up being against what he claims to be for.
in order for republicans to get notice they must go extreme the problem is once they've took the leap doesn't seem to be a rope or log to cross back over to the more sane side of the divide.
the rush to back to the past is losing it's potential maybe some kind of time continuum is erasing their minds and they fall victim to their own misinformation and instead of misleading us, they mislead themselves and when it's time to close the deal, they can't, it's all been exposed for what it is right wing hyperbole of their own "values", that for the rest of America are valueless. they have been rejected twice in 4 years, they need to recognize.
