Co-host Joe Scarborough began by scolding protestors across the nation for making Michael Brown, fatally shot by former Ferguson, Mo. "the face of black oppression."
"The cops have every reason to be pissed off this morning," Scarborough said. He argued thatthe five players on the St. Louis Rams who raised their arms in solidarity with Ferguson on Sunday based their gesture on "lies" that contradicted findings of a grand jury investigation.
The morning show host compared Brown to George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager in 2012, and described both as "thugs."
The show's self-designated liberal panelist and former ad man Donny Deutsch stepped in to register his full agreement with Scarborough.
"I am left of center. You're right of center. You say potato. I say potato," Deutsch began. "And I could not agree with what you said more passionately."
"It's not a black-white situation. It's a thug-police officer situation," said Deustch, beginning to chuckle.
i watched this to ad nauseam i heard him through the years making bigoted borderline racist remarks but sometime he was honest and fair but today was over the hill, he took the republican line of demonizing Michael and excusing the killer cop, he made reference to the robbery which the cops said early on he had no knowledge of he used the murdered kid as a heavy bag he kept pounding while sympathizing with Wilson and his hard job.
i'm waiting for the blow back that should rightfully be aimed directly at him and his radical insensitive assumptive rant. the Deutch guy came off as usual a suck up to Scarborough what waas more disturbing no one challenged him, is he the clone of O'Reilly?
