Fox News Guest Tells Female Host To Trade Her Job For Being Barefoot And Pregnant In The Kitchen
Fox News has consistently been the place where anti-women attitudes are put on full display. Despite the fact that women are rejecting these conservative views by a large margin, the GOP propaganda arm still no problem airing them. And apparently, Fox has no problem subjecting their own female hosts to them either.

A Fox News guest told a female host to quit her job, get married, and have babies.

Fox News host Anna Kooiman, flanked by male co-hosts Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris, interviewed Suzanne Venker on Sunday. Venker is the staunch anti-women’s rights niece anti-women’s rights activist Phyllis Schlafly. During the segment, the four of them discussed Venker’s Fox News column in which she argues that women need husbands. While her two male counterparts were giddily supportive of the argument, Kooiman was far more skeptical. That’s when anti-women attitudes were placed center-stage for all to see. Kooiman asked Venker how her views applied to women who are more career driven such as herself. In response, Venker told Kooiman that she should quit her career, get married, have babies, and be submissive to her husband. Basically, be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen slaving away for her man. Oh, and Venker says she should thank him for it too.

KOOIMAN: “I’m single, I’m 29, I’m very career oriented. What’s your advice in just a couple sentences?” VENKER: “My advice is, as the years go on and you find that you want, if you do, to get married and settle down, to understand time is going to be your greatest enemy. Not your husband, not men, not the government, not your employers. It’s time, there’s just not enough time in the day to do everything. So if you learn to embrace that side of yourself that isn’t about work, in other words, the nurturing side, the motherhood, all of that. It’s okay to let your husband bring home that full-time income so you can have more of a balanced life. And we should really be thanking men for this, not saying they’re in our way or not doing enough.”

this is why republicans are not losing the war on women on their side of the fence, they have created Stepford wives and women that we see are going along for the ride and apparently are looking forward to the trip.  they stand beside them and don't blink at the heinous things they say in disrespect and in most cases abhorrence of the gender. they pass it on and generation after generation of right wing women in this case are subjected to all sorts of demeaning.
i really think that has a lot to do with their attitude toward rape and reluctance to sign violence against women act, they are trying to protect their own asses in case.
