Fox News host Chris Wallace suggested to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Sunday that President Barack Obama was purposely trying to “panic the markets” to damage the Republican Party.
“This week both you and the president seemed to be trying to panic the markets about both raising the debt ceiling and the government shutdown, saying that they should be more concerned,” Wallace told Lew. “Aren’t your efforts failing to try to use the markets to put pressure on Republicans to cave?”“You know, Chris, it’s my job to strengthen the economy,” Lew sighed. “And I spend every day trying to do that. That’s why it’s so important for the government to act, to open up the government, to make sure we can pay our bills.”
did Roger Ailes pull Wallace's coat he attacked this guy on right wing with conjecture, the republicans as later stated are doing a bang up job all by themselves they don't need help in that area.
they need help in humanity that's a sure bet. have you noticed they have been running around blaming everything they did that caused this on the Pres., they do it then sweep the dirt on his shoes, even down to saying he's the one who refuses to get us back up and running even his under informed base knows that to be a lie an acceptable lie for them but still a lie.
he was maniacal in trying to get Lew to admit to his hyperbole mixed with right wing untruths. maybe some one told him he wasn't coming off not to fair or balanced because he went back to being a pretty good commentator he grilled the republican too. but he had to know the Pres. was not trying to kill off the republicans from day one he tried the olive branches continually to most of our party's chagrin they pooped on him and during all this he has only told the truth about the obstruction, not enough lipstick to make that pig attractive.
