In Washington, Secretary of State John F. Kerry told Congress that the proposal “is the ideal way” to take chemical weapons away from the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. But he warned that the United States would not tolerate “delay” or “avoidance,” adding: “We’re waiting for that proposal, but we’re not waiting for long.”
i'm beginning to get tired of Kerry's buster bad a.s attitude if there is something that might get us out of this let in bloom stop the poking in the chest, plenty of time for that if it falls through, but bad mouthing can hasten that what might have been would be lost because of chest thumping c'mon that's the republican way not the diplomatic way.
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said bringing the proposal to the Security Council would allow the world to judge theintentions of Russia and China, which until now have blocked efforts to sanction Syria for any actions during its 2 1 / 2-year-long civil conflict.
let the world court of opinion decide what is real if we do it and act on it then we are no better than them. and all this post talk after the agreement announcement is escalating and guesstimates of what the Pres. will say tonight, "no change",
somebody needs to put a sock in it he should say do to recent events he will relax and await the outcome and he appreciates Russia intervening in behalf of peaceful resolution and thank Putin, that will kill all the right wing muttering about what it was or wasn't if was respectfully thanking for avoiding who knows what.
if you don't know STFU!!!
