is he saying Hollywood won't stand for what they believe because they don't want to feel anti black????
With the current run-up to war in Syria, you may very well ask where Hollywood is. After all, a lot of celebrities were very vocal about war during the Bush administration. So where are they now? Well, many have apparently OD’d on political correctness.Ed Asner, Hollywood actor and longtime liberal activist, admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that Hollywood doesn’t want to appear “anti-black” in opposing President Obama. Both Asner and former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrellhave personally been very outspoken about Syria, with Farrell calling Obama’s plan of limited military action as “a potential war crime.”As far as Asner’s concerned, though, it’s far too late for Hollywood to jump in. He said, “This country will either bomb the hell out of Syria or not before Hollywood gets off its ass.”
this is not a decision i would wish on een a republican i do not envy Pres. his job right now. i do thank God that it's him behind the desk and not the saber wavers who once again were all hopped up on war in the middle east from McCains "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran to the right wing war mongering before the Pres. was for it now like the proverbial broken clock that's right twice a day they now are against it.
this also is a twisted circumstance that cries for Progressive intervention because of the genocide Assad seems to be engaged in, then you have the dreaded aftermath no one knows what will or will not happen but is it a sucker bet,
he is heralded as the American Pres. who saved Syria but if it brings about unprecedented retribution it has the potential for the right wing to make a case for never again a Black Pres. totally ignoring all that he has accomplished in the face of republican obstruction a 1,000 atta boys unfortunately don't trump one aw @!$%#, dead man's hand aces and eights. IMO he needs to fold let America and him live to fight another day
we are a fickle electorate riddled with tose who are just waiting on what they will try and spin as the ultimate failure and "can we take a chance on another one"? republicans will then move to repeal 8 years of positive avancement and reinstate "DEREGULATION" if there is nothing else you remember remember this,
G W Bush, "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones you want to concentrate on".
don't get fooled again
