WASHINGTON -- George W. Bush may feel "no need to defend" himself this week before the opening of his presidential library on Thursday, but that's not true for many of those who served in his administration.
Bush loyalists have been working for weeks, if not months, on a communications plan to maximize the positive impact this week on the legacy of their former boss, the 43rd president.
"We know there will be a lot of attacks waged by the left, but there's also an opportunity here for those of us who served to set the record straight on some things and get some facts out there that the president has chosen not to do, to his credit," Ed Gillespie, a former White House adviser to Bush, told The Huffington Post.
of all the lies, hoaxes and deception by the republican party, they are now going for the jackpot, like in the "usual suspects" that line,
"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn't exist."
they are trying to pull off their greatest trick, to convince the world of how great Bush Presidency was.
his 8 years the second 4 were secured with fear of impending Islamic Jihad they were the only i repeat the only ones who could keep us safe, and the fickled lead me please electorate raced to the voting polls.

i understand Pres.'s concern that 2009 was not the time to start war criminal investigations the country was to fragile now just to gullible, but what did they do after that election "our number one job is to make him a one term president", all the inquisitions and witch hunts at our expense that led to no infractions.

think what would have been had we prosecuted the guys responsible for our dead and maimed and economy dropping, and doing all they can to keep it that way.
BUSH LEGACY;

 i think we and the world should take a page from Bush, we should not be embassed about the world knowing, they already do.  what it does is gives us the memorie and not allow history to repeat.
how about this, "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones you want to concentrate on"
he is referring to the right wing base, the zealots the gullible and most concerning the extremist.
this is what i'll remember and long as i can talk and type those who read this will remember too.
