Government Shutdown: What It Is, and What It Isn't

With the President officially declaring that he will not pull a rabbit out of his hat to avert a default, President Obama has squarely put the responsibility upon Congress to do so instead. While we would probably prefer this to be a time when the President exerted executive power instead of relying on the separation of powers, this has the side-effect of forcing the end-game on the debt ceiling to occur in roughly a month to a month and a half. Whatever Republicans sane enough to think strategically are left are announcing that the debt ceiling is not 'the ultimate hostage', and that 'all options are on the table'.
i'm failing to see what the fuss, the US has to pay it's bills yo know the one's congress already approved, why is this even a issue it never was before Obama doesn't that tell you something.
congress is responsible they have tried to switch blame to Pres. and spending but he can't spend what they don't approve, so again what the fuss?

their threats are baseless in as much as if they don't they will be responsible if they do they will just have done their job for maybe the first time in 4 years, are we to smile and pat them on the back?

they claim to be the purse holders well is that not an admission of guilt?
