Two provisions to cut Social Security benefits in the proposed highway bill caused Democrats in both the Senate and House to revolt. Democrats have succeeded in getting both of those provisions removed, but now Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is facing a serious challenge in getting the bill past his own party, in both chambers of Congress.
okay the republicans are going to have trouble passing a bill that they were trying to use to cut social security that is a double whammy the fact that they put it in in the first place and now having a problem that it's not in there????????
these are the potentials the ones who would potentially destroy the country they keep saying is exceptional and the best country in the world while blaming Pres. because it is failing, can't all be that way but they can be all lies that is a fact.
medicaid, medicare, soc. security, social programs for elderly and poor all are candidates for the republican chopping block they have already been planting the seeds of destruction and obstruction voting for them will be the endgame for those we love and those kids hungry, republican rule baby, can't live with it can live without it your choice where's your voice??????
