Upset about Ireland's vote to legalize same-sex marriage, the nutjobs at the Westboro Baptist Church staged and protest and inadvertently ended up giving us pure comedy:
Following the passing of the same-sex marriage referendum the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) have announced that “God hates Ireland” – but it seems they’ve been having a little trouble disrespecting the Irish flag in the way they’d like to.
The group say that the way to show a nation is in distress is to hang their flag upside down. So as part of the protests against Ireland, they decided to hang the flag upside down. Or tried to, at least...
it's just so hypocritical the way evangelicals claim their rights to religious freedom is being trampled while sticking their blasphemous noses into a foreign country's desire to not be like them. look at what they are doing to the children. bigotry and hate has clouded their heads what they really missed was more accurate. though the Bible speaks against homosexuality nowhere does it presume to say God said he hated Gays. misinterpretation or just blasphemous bigotry
