GOP leaders say they're going to block President Obama's executive action on immigration not through impeachment or a government shutdown, but by very specifically defunding the agencies that would carry out Obama's executive order. There's just one small problem. It turns out Congress can't do that. According to a House Appropriations Committee spokeswoman, it would be "impossible," because Citizenship and Immigration Services is funded through fees, not congressional appropriations:
“We cannot, literally cannot, defund that agency in an appropriations bill because we don’t appropriate that agency. That agency is entirely fee funded,” Hing said.
Bahahahahaha. Even better:
Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), who wants to defund the order, said he didn’t buy the news.
Republicans were really all-in on this idea that they could defund the order without shutting down the government. And now they've got like a day to figure out their next super-sneaky maneuver to ensure that Obama can't slow deportations. Or they can just keep insisting they can do the thing that's "impossible." Denying reality is a favored Republican strategy, after all.

this is almost comical if it were not so serious they call Pres. lawless he can't do this without us, he's an emperor, king, monarch, with all the panty bunching they've been doing about this immigration issue they lied about saying they were all for it before they were rebutting it now how many times?  started with Cruz being their path to Hispanic living rooms that that went sour all culminating in it's not their job they don't hold that purse string.

there is a bigger point here no one has mentioned that is republicans do not want immigration they do not want Hispanics here for anything other then cheap labor tax free.  their real issue they will probably vote with Dems if they were ever allowed as long as there is republican control over any branch of legislation ain't gonna happen no path to citizenship.

the fact that they are in such rabid opposition threatening the President, warning of civil assaults, threatening to undo services that would be incremental in it's success, bottom line THEY DON'T WANT TO FATTEN POTENTIAL OPPOSITION VOTERS, AND THE HATE THEM.  the cracks like kids with calves size of melons from hauling drugs across the desert, they will bring Ebola with them, they will take your job, they will use health care that they are trying to take from Americans the hate and bigotry has fogged up their windows more than usual they really can't see the anti immigration is killing their 2016 hopes they need Hispanics but what they are doing and saying now you would think they just don't want to breathe the same air, they don't want them to be anymore than they have stereotyped them to be and that is not American.
