A Fox News host had a major slip of the tongue and used a racist slur during an on screen rant.
When discussing who he thought posed the biggest threat to the United States duriing Thursdays's episode of "The Five," co-host Bob Beckel didn't follow the usual network line of Muslims, atheists or President Obama, but actually choose China and the Chinese people. During his rant of why China is the biggest threat to the country, Beckel referred to them as "Chinaman."
"The Chinese are the single biggest threat to the national security of the U.S. They have been, they will be and they can wait, they're very patient. Do you know what we just did? As usual, we bring them over here and we teach a bunch of Chinamen -- er, Chinese people -- how to do computers and then they go back to China and hack into us."
The ironic part of the story, Beckel is considered the only liberal on the panel
I would suggest that we consider what show this is and what network labeled this guy a liberal okay but the fact that he was slinging bigotry on Fox network suggest to me that this is an intentional set up knowing he would say something stupid that they can then say "both sides do it". clearly if he's a Fox host he's not a real liberal.
