In 2012, whining about Obama's safety regulations. In 2014, an awful workplace accident.

Earlier in the week, eight workers were sprayed with molten metal in an industrial accident in Wisconsin:
The machine failure occurred around 4 p.m. Monday, causing molten brass to spray inside a room of the sprawling foundry complex, burning the workers and starting a small fire inside the plant at 270 N. Mill St., Ramthun said. There did not appear to have been an explosion, as village fire officials had reported on Monday.
[Company president Lance] Johnson said in a statement released Tuesday that liquid metal was sprayed onto the legs and backs of the injured workers.
What makes this noteworthy is not the seriousness of the injuries—as awful as being burned with molten metal would be, the injuries are reportedly not life-threatening—but the company president's view of safety regulations. Dave Jamieson flags Lance Johnson's past statementson what he claimed were duplicative audits by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration:
"I've never been audited by more government agencies in my life than I have under Obama," Johnson, president of Johnson Brass & Machine Foundry Inc., in Saukville, Wisconsin, told The Wall Street Journal in a Nov. 2, 2012, campaign story. [...]
Johnson claimed the cost of dealing with those unnecessary OSHA audits went "well into the six figures." OSHA disputed that the audits were duplicative.
keep in mind these are the regulations that republicans want to do away with the very one's that protect us from them, they are not interested in your safety they feel you ought to look out for yourself and with armies of lawyers they feel the cost to retain them is less than complying with safety regulations in business speak that means "profit is more important than those who make it possible".

republicans like to phrase it as "gov't denying our freedoms" leading the listener to include themselves into that lie even though they don't know what it is they are being denied just that the dynamic is present and gov't is implementing it misdirection or intentional deception?
his like others like him have never been audited because the admin at the time was working against it, now there's a new sheriff and thwey will be regulated and we will be safe.
