President Barack Obama will meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican as part of a European trip scheduled for March.The White House says Obama "looks forward to discussing with Pope Francis their shared commitment to fighting poverty and growing inequality" during their March 27 meeting. Obama also plans to meet in Rome with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and Prime Minister Enrico Letta.
now as the Pres. sets about doing his work expect attacks about how you are paying for it designed to sound like he's just joy riding on your dime. when you read these things note the entire article and what he is actually doing not what republicans say he's doing.
right wing religious are trying to put the fire out in their hair. one hing when he makes these meetings ever notice how the right wing instinctively tries to vilify the effort, just like Iran talks they are trying to sabotage that by adding more sanctions ahead of the talks, this is why laws should prevent those not authorized to interfere in foreign policy if they want to feel important look in a mirror and love on.
