Congressional Republicans quickly panned President Barack Obama’s announcement that an international deal had been reached to address Iran’s nuclear program.
“The interim deal has been and will continue to be met with healthy skepticism and hard questions, not just of the Iranians, but of ourselves and our allies involved in the negotiations,” House Speaker John Boehner said Sunday.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) raised concerns that the deal allows Iran to continue enriching some uranium.“The U.S. should not weaken existing United Nations Security Council demands that Iran fully suspend its nuclear activities, including enrichment,” Cantor said in a statement. “Loosening sanctions and recognizing Iran’s enrichment program is a mistake, and will not stop Iran’s march toward nuclear capability.”
with their ideas there would never be any end but confrontation just what the right wing ordered, you have to engage in something they have no idea about compromise give some to get some.
House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) compared the deal to the 1994 agreement with North Korea to disarm their nuclear program — a pact that ultimately broke down.“Iran hasn’t given the world reason to be anything but deeply skeptical of any agreement that leaves their capacity to build nuclear weapons intact,” McKeon said in a statement. “The president sees wisdom in placing trust, however limited, in a regime that has repeatedly violated international norms and put America’s security at risk. Apparently, America has not learned its lesson from 1994 when North Korea fooled the world. I am skeptical that this agreement will end differentlthey want it all their way or war if i'm wrong they can give us an alternative plan but like health care and any other opposition they have to Progressive policy there is none just a nay to what is law and a plan.
the papers on the republican side are all blank. like i said they will come in with nothing but attacks IMO because they have nothing have had nothing and anything they might throw together in an 11 th hour will be just as void of anything remotely resembling a plan. for a party that has condemned everything Pres. has done they are batting .0000, because he's in the winners circle.
