our sisters are doing it on their own!
Article PhotoFour female Marines made history this week when they graduated from the Marine Corps' enlisted infantry training course at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on Thursday.
"This is a milestone for women seeking equality in the Armed Forces," said Capt. Maureen Krebs, a Marine Corps spokeswoman.
In other words, this milestone marks the first time female Marines will earn the title of "Grunt." To fully appreciate this monumental accomplishment, here are five things you need to know.
we have belittled, demeaned, disesteemed an totally misplaced respect for women and their relevance.  those who still engage in this flippancy forget if not for their mothers they would not be spreading this unmannerliness, i think with the strong women of old on through today makes the males question their intestinal fortitude they are not who they want to be people in that position tend to lash out at those they perceive to be weaker and that they can "MAN OVER", gives a false sense of strength, knowing it compels further assaulting.
The four graduating women join the ranks of some of the greatest female Marines in our nation's history: Opha Mae Johnson, who was the first female to enlist in the Marines in 1918, and Maj Jennifer Grieves, who was the first female aviator to pilot Marine One, the presidential helicopter.
"It's not really about being a female. It's about being a Marine and about being part of an organization that is exceptional," said Grieves about her landmark achievement. These words now apply to a new generation of female Marines who have answered their country's call, and that is exceptional.
i agree, unfortunately, for the men it is all about being a women, are they afraid of being shown up, like IMO many did and do this to Black males and females fear of inadequacy is a strong emotional driver, it makes you overcompensate in more ways then just competing, especially if they are in a position of command.
i also think this is what drives the gun fetishes not so much the NRA fear tactics but what they bring to the surface that makes a person need a gun like water. SYG laws seem to create more murder victims then they claimed it would impede, was that the plan?
republican aversion to women protecting themselves against them says a whole lot about not just the reality of their war against them but a sick need to beat them down mentally as well as physically, hence the rape jokes that were not funny but it never stopped them, or the women in that party that supports the ideal that they are subject to as well. party of total stupidity
