The tiny fundamentalist Westboro Baptist Church announced over the weekend that it would picket the Monday funeral of 29-year-old Boston Marathon bombing victim Krystle Campbell. The church is celebrating the bomb attacks as God's wrath.

As with other Westboro funeral protests, there's expected to be an attempt to prevent the church from getting near the Medford, Mass., funeral service.

Teamsters Local 25 President Sean O'Brien asked off-duty members of the 11,000-member group to join efforts to "form a human shield and block the Westboro Baptist Church."

"Westboro Baptist Church should understand that we will go to great lengths to make sure they don't protest any funerals of the victims of the past week's tragedies, and that those we lost receive a proper burial," O'Brien said.

A Sunday wake for Campbell at Medford's Dello Russo Funeral Home was guarded by "hundreds" of bikers against a possible Westboro picket, the New York Daily News reports.

Westboro said in its Saturday press release that it intends to picket the funeral from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Monday.

"Antichrist Rebel-in-chief Barack Obama comforted you in the sin of same-sex marriage when he announced his support for it," the church said. "He is chiefly to blame for bringing down the wrath of God on Boston, on Massachusetts and on USA. He vows that those responsible for the Boston Marathon Bombs would feel the full weight of justice. Hello, Mr. Pervert-in-chief! GOD SENT THE BOMBS!"

It added: "WBC will remind you at every opportunity that God is your enemy & fights against you! THANK GOD FOR THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBS!"
