America’s outpouring of support for marriage equality has clearly put the religious right’s Tolerance Warning System™’s on Code Red. Deliberations on Hollingsworth v. Perry by an evenly split Supreme Court, and a CBS News poll reporting majority support for marriage equality have conservative leaders and pundits going ballistic.
The New York Post‘s hysterically shrieking about how marriage equality is threatening religious freedom; Congressman Stephen “Glassy Eyed Man Puppies” King (R-IA) went full-on stupid and said marriage equality is against the constitution; Rush Limbaugh likened marriage equality to animal sex (apparently, he knows a lot about this);Mike Huckabee and other evangelicals are threatening to quit the GOP over this non-issue (don’t let the door kick you on the butt on the way out!); and the rest of them are saying their usual stupid crap.
not going to list but you all have hard and seen all the reprehensible lies and misleading engaged by this very list of malcontents, i say let the SOB's go maybe the party might round itself out after all these years of hate filled prejudice and intolerance.
Now, Zack Beauchamp from Think Progress reports thatFauxFox News contributors Todd Starnes and Erick Erickson are whipping up the hysteria into a frothy mix by claiming marriage equality will criminalize Christianity. Imagine that! An 80% Christian Congress banning anti-gay Christian churches, businesses, and non-profits, and persecuting anti-gay Christians so they have to worship in secret, just like in Soviet Russia or in the early days of the Christian Church in Rome!
this is what i mean, misllead and misinform and that base that i find it hard tio believe ever read a Bible, are accepting of what ever interpretation they hear as written in stone. beware of wolves in sheep's clothing
