Democrats hammered Republicans for voting to go into recess Friday and accused them of willfully avoiding coming up with a plan to avert the sequester.
“The Democrats tried to stop the Republicans from leaving, but 220 Republicans voted to adjourn, that means we have four legislative days left to avoid the across the board cuts,” Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told reporters. “They manufacture a crisis and then instead of trying to avert that crisis they go on a nine day recess. Why?"The House adjourned and will not hold “pro forma” sessions that were used to prevent the administration from making recess appointments.In previous pro forma sessions, House Democrats would often come to the floor to speak about Congress needing to work. Though not the official name of the bill, the vote on adjournment was dubbed the “Rules Resolution Prohibiting Democrat Grandstanding on the House Floor,” according an internal GOP email that did not go unnoticed by Democrats.
the sheer amount of recesses that the republican congress avails themselves of is reason enough to wave goodbye to them 2014.
they are there to do the peoples business, they insult us do they think our business is to name a street, a building, keep in God we trust on the money?
is our business to deny the Pres. we re-elected anything, do we want gerrymandering so they can lose and win at the same time, do we want guns in our children's hands like they were Hitler youths?
how about low paying jobs or in their case no promised jobs since 2010 lie? do you want your boss in your bedroom, do you want more weapons added to warehouse's on top of already more than enough other weapons? think about where it all leads if you answered yes or no, unless we secure our own future with those who believe we have one. recognize
compare your days off to your congress's then look in the mirror and see the expression on your face.

deja vu all over again did we not go through this same right wing devestation last year? theywill never change their "values" just the proposals and bills they have "value" issues with, that would be every positive thing our Pres. has put out and will put out, atleast they can be stopped 2014.
