Politics - David A. Graham - Obama Says the Private Sector is 'Doing Fine'—Is He Right? -

"But while it's probably true that the remark will come back to haunt the president, facts ought to matter. Unlike McCain, who was obviously wrong about the economy, Obama isn't totally off base. Here's the rest of his comment"

"Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government, oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don't have the same kind of flexibility of the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in".

"The president also noted that corporate profits have hit record highs".

the corps are fine so since the right cares less about middle class this is an opportunity to mislead "we the people" by the right wing propaganda machine. everyone knows what he meant and if you didn't try and imagine what 4 years of hemorrhaging 750,000 jobs a month republican style would be like now after 4 years.

27 months continually adding jobs trumps 750,000 lost a month even in Roves little red book.
IMO yes it's ok, it could have been worse. recognize he's being blocked at every turn and still accomplishing stuff on "we the peoples" behalf, what have republican's done for you lately or early?

knit pickin' does not give you the entire picture, but unscrupulous people are standing by willing and able to fill in those holes with a misleading rant not of the context of what it started with. beware of the elephant dung. please click title
